Annihilation

Spent pretty long finalising the details. Was inspired to do something bigger than signatures all of a sudden in the middle of the night. Hope you guys like it. It's my first self-made wallpaper and my second abstract one. Comments and favourites are greatly appreciated. Below's a short story:

Annihilation. The very word strikes fear into the souls of people. Judgement Day was imminent. Everywhere on the devastated world, chaos and havoc were wrecked. Families, wealth, lives winked out of existence as fear alchemized into rage and bloodlust. Wars were waged at such a critical moment in history. The President of the United States was rumoured to be building a space shuttle to avoid the inevitable - the collision between the comets and Earth. However, it seemed that the project was doomed to fail from the start.

However, it was calculated that there was a chance of 0.001% that the comets will miss Earth. Will Mankind survive this approaching disaster, or will the work of thousands of years go to waste? We await the conclusion of this 'Annihilation', hoping... hoping for a miracle.
